Currently graphics or live video inputs are just displayed on a stationary monitor, backdrop or as a simple overlay. They stay unmoved and the presenter needs to direct the attention of the audience to this object by his actions.Now, based on the camera picture only, TabulaTrack tracks the pose and shape of a single-colored plate of any size inside your video picture in real-time.
This enables the graphics system to display any 2D or 3D graphics or live video exactly within this frame, even during movements of the camera or the object. The talent can even hold, rotate, move or carry the graphics with the help of the real board.
We do not have time or space to set up a monitor?
On some occasions - especially in the case of electronic news gathering outside of a well prepared studio environment - there is not enough time or space to set up a conventional display device. With TabulaTrack just a single-colored plate needs to be positioned within the camera's field of view, that's it. TabulaTrack immediately turns this board into to a video screen of any size or shape, with no time for set-up or calibration. Even if the camera or the presenter moves, the virtual screen does it's job.
